General Tips

• Whenever a component doesn't work, check the cables, plugs, or any other connections
• If a CD-ROM doesn't work, make sure the disk is inserted properly, and that it isn't scratched.
• If a floppy disk doesn't work, check the sliding door to see if it is bent or stuck (and if it is, don't put it back into the computer).
• Make sure everyone knows the right way to put disks in, and that no-one is shoving paperclips and gum into the holes.
• Be patient.
• Save your work often.
• Take care of your equipment.
