Walker School had its first community night of the year. Families came and had a fun filled night of carving and painting pumpkins, taking family photos, and completing a fall craft. Thank you to all the families that attended! What a great time!
Congratulations to our top fundraisers for the Walker PTO Taffy Apple event. These students received a game card for the Wintrust Sports Complex. Thank you to Wintrust for supporting Walker School and Walker PTO for organizing. We raised over $2,000 to support our students!

This week is fire prevention week. The Bedford Park Firefighters came to present to the Walker students about fire safety. The students learned many important facts and enjoyed trying on the firefighter gear.

All week Kindergarten students at Walker have been learning about apples. Today they had a STEAM challenge to build an apple tower. They worked with a partner to create the apple towers!

Walker school celebrated its PBIS Rockstars today with a Kona Shaved Ice treat. Students worked hard all September and earned this special PBIS reward. This program was sponsored by one of our community partners, Vulcan Materials! Great job Walker PBIS Rockstars!
