Join School District 104 on May 20th for the Groundbreaking Ceremony of the Cook County School District 104 Administrative Building and the secure entrance additions for Wharton and Walker School. The ceremony will begin at 8:00 AM at the new Cook County School District 104 Administrative Building location, 7509 63rd St, Summit, IL 60501. The ceremony will then proceed to Wharton School, and end at Walker School. Light refreshments will be available at Walker School. Please see the attached invitation for details. The Walker Kindergarten Students have been learning about community helpers. Yesterday they got to visit the Bedford Park police station to learn all about the job of a police officer, the tools they need for their job, and how they protect us. Thank you, Bedford Park Police Station!

The kindergartners at Walker School have been learning about community helpers. Today Officer Dominguez stopped by to talk to the students about his job as a police officer and the tools needed for his job. A big thank you to Officer Dominguez! Today Mrs. Sanchez's First grade class at Walker celebrated Saint Patrick's Day by wearing green, trying to catch leprechauns by making traps, and making rainbow toast.
