Today Mrs. Sanchez's First grade class at Walker celebrated Saint Patrick's Day by wearing green, trying to catch leprechauns by making traps, and making rainbow toast.

The leprechaun came to Walker School today!!! We made traps and went on a leprechaun hunt. Lots of clues were left and we found his gold!!!

Ms. Kane's 3rd-grade class at Walker was invited to the AG day hosted by the Cook County Farm Bureau and the Chicago High School for Agriculture. The students were led around eight stations ad learned about agriculture including horses, sheep, goats, chickens, pigs, crops, and earthworms! Despite the cold weather, they had a blast!

In PE today, Mrs. Torringa's classes at Walker school partnered up for some parachute fun. Students learned teamwork and problem-solving skills. What a great time!

Kindergarteners at Walker received a special first day of school note from Mickey Mouse! Mickey wished all students a magical year and sent some “Pixie Dust” to sprinkle on their ice cream treat to help settle first day jitters. ✨😊🍦
