This week the 7th grade science class were learning about how energy moves in an aquatic ecosystem. They took a sample of pond water and made microscope slides. They then looked at the organisms under microscopic magnification. Finally, they connected how the decomposers of this ecosystem are so important!

🎢🚀 Today in Ms. Puhr's class, we went FULL ENGINEER MODE and designed roller coasters to test out gravitational potential energy 💥. Students in Mrs. Gomez’ 6th grade science class used edible materials to model Earth’s layers. The cookie represents the crust, the Oreo cream is the mantle, the chocolate syrup represents the outer core, and the Skittle represents the inner core. Of course they got to eat their masterpiece at the end!
