Good Afternoon Walker Families. Walker afterschool programs are canceled for today, 2/12. However, Bedford Park District Kidzone will be open for those students who are registered. Thank you.

Dear School District 104 Families, Due to the forecasted snow accumulation this afternoon, all after school activities will be canceled for today, Wednesday-February 12, 2025. This includes athletics, clubs, and other such activities. These activities will resume tomorrow, Thursday- February 13, 2025. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation as we prioritize the safety of our students, staff, and families. Please stay safe and warm. No School - Monday, January 20th in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day No hay clases: lunes 20 de enero en conmemoración del Día de Martin Luther King Jr.

This morning the Kindergarten and First Grade classes at Walker school were able to visit the Bedford Park Police Station.   The students had a guided tour of the police station.  The police officers discuss the importance of following rules and showed the tools needed for their job.  It was a great way to wrap up their reading unit on rules and safety.

After Walker students were retaught the behavioral expectations throughout the school,  students and staff celebrated its commitment to act respectful, responsible, safe and kind with a PBIS Rockstar Minute to Win it celebration.  Students and staff played various games and cheered for each other.  What an amazing day!  Thank you Vulcan Materials Company for your continued support!
