Join School District 104 on May 20th for the Groundbreaking Ceremony of the Cook County School District 104 Administrative Building and the secure entrance additions for Wharton and Walker School. The ceremony will begin at 8:00 AM at the new Cook County School District 104 Administrative Building location, 7509 63rd St, Summit, IL 60501. The ceremony will then proceed to Wharton School, and end at Walker School. Light refreshments will be available at Walker School. Please see the attached invitation for details. Congratulations to all of the HMS students who were inducted into NJHS last night. The National Junior Honor Society (NJHS) elevates a school’s commitment to the values of scholarship, service, leadership, character, and citizenship and helps middle-level students develop the knowledge and skills to become well-rounded student leaders in their school, community, and beyond. We cannot wait to see what the future holds for these students!

GIRLS VS BOYS VOLLEYBALL SHOWDOWN! May 11th starting at 4 pm. Varsity Girls vs Varsity Boys 4 p.m. JV Girls vs JV Boys immediately after. We will be playing a best of 3 for each level to determine who is the better team! Everyone is welcome to attend!

SD104 will have an Autism Awareness Day on April 21st, 2023. Students are encouraged to wear their grade's assigned color on this day. Please see the flyer for your grade's color! Nominate them for School District 104's Wall of Fame!! 🤩 Each year the Wall of Fame Committee will choose up to 5 recipients for the School District 104 Wall of Fame. Nominees must be a graduate of HMS, Graves Junior High, or School District 104 before 2015. You can fill out an electronic form or send in a paper form. Both are listed below.
