Wharton 5th Grade Center Mural Removal
During its regular meeting on Monday, July 19, 2021, The Cook County School District 104 School Board determined that it was a mistake to install the mural at Wharton school which is an historic community landmark. There was a misunderstanding regarding the mural placement. The Board directed that it be removed as soon as possible.
