Dear School District 104 - Wharton School Parents and Guardians, I am writing to inform you of an unexpected situation impacting our school operations at Wharton School. Due to a lack of water pressure from the City of Summit, we are unable to provide the necessary resources to safely and effectively conduct in-person learning today, Wednesday, Jan 22nd at Wharton School. As a result, we will transition to an e-learning day for all students at Wharton School. Classes will start at 8:50 am. This decision was made to ensure the safety and well-being of our students and staff. We understand the inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your flexibility and support as we work through these unforeseen circumstances. Please know that the City of Summit is addressing the issue, and we will provide updates as they become available. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out to the school office at (708) 458 – 0604. Wharton School will be contacting any parents/guardians whose student is already at the school. Then, following the third-place game, Graves will take on Walker for the first-ever Intramural Basketball Championship!
