Wharton students in our 5th-8th grade transitional program with goods collected for the toy drive benefiting student and families across the district.
Take a look at the final part of the community service project after Mr. Bricker came to visit.
Student went to local seniors' houses and dropped off home-made wreaths and sang Christmas Carols. Some of the seniors were so surprised and happy. ☺️🎄
Miss Moore and Ms. Manzo’s students made reindeer bookmarks as a reminder to read for 20 minutes each day over winter break.

Walker Student Council brought in retired US Air Force veteran Howard Michael Bricker (87 years young) to read his book, "The Christmas Santa Had No Beard" to 3rd and 4th Graders.
The book is both in English and Spanish.
Student Council has been learning about senior citizens and empathy all month long.
