Thank you for everyone who came out to our Día de Los Muertos event on Friday November 5th! A Huge thank you to all of our students who performed at the event. Congratulations to 7th Grader Yuliana Vargas on an incredible performance this past Saturday at the ILMEA District 1 Junior High Festival at Lincoln-Way Central High School! Yuliana spent the day rehearsing with 115 other middle school students and concluded the day with a wonderful concert for their families later that afternoon. Being selected to this group requires lots of extra work and dedication to her craft. Yuliana accepted the challenge and has seen the rewards that come from that commitment to excellence. Walsh School recently purchased a horizontal climbing wall which was funded by Walsh PFC and the Enchanted Backpack Charitable Organization. Students and staff are excited for this amazing addition to our gym. Thank you to all who made this possible! 🧗‍♂️
