Unity Day celebrates and promotes kindness, acceptance, and inclusion to prevent bullying. This is why students and staff at Graves Elementary wore orange clothing to send a united message that no one should feel alone and that everyone should be treated with respect. 🧡

El Día de la Unidad celebra y promueve la amabilidad, la aceptación y la inclusión para prevenir el acoso escolar. The SD104 Nursing Team had a great day of learning and collaboration at the Lewis University Nursing Simulation Lab! Led by Dr. Dena Hinkle, DNP, APRN, IL PEL-SN, NCSN, Illinois Director to the National Association of School Nurses, the team explored new strategies to strengthen school health services and practiced hands-on clinical skills — from G-tube and trach care to emergency response.

We’re so thankful to Lewis University and Dr. Hinkle for an inspiring and empowering Institute Day!
