Do you know someone who has graduated from School District 104 and has done amazing things within their profession and the community? Nominate them for School District 104's Wall of Fame! 🤩
Each year the Wall of Fame Committee will choose up to 5 recipients for the School District 104 Wall of Fame. Nominees for the 2024-2025 Wall of Fame must be graduates of HMS, Graves Junior High, or School District 104 before 2017.

After three days of taking the Illinois Science Assessment (ISA) 5th grade students at Graves were given a refreshing break from academic pressure while promoting emotional well-being, creativity, and meaningful self-expression through an art activity presented at the HABLA institute. The 5th grade team at Graves introduced the focus question "Think about what makes you happy" and had students create a mood board full of images, colors, and textures that capture a specific feeling or style.
Tras tres días de presentar la Evaluación de Ciencias de Illinois (ISA), los estudiantes de 5.º grado de Graves disfrutaron de un refrescante descanso de la presión académica, a la vez que promovían su bienestar emocional, creatividad y autoexpresión significativa mediante una actividad artística presentada en el instituto HABLA. El equipo de 5.º grado de Graves presentó la pregunta clave: "Piensa en lo que te hace feliz" y pidió a los estudiantes que crearan un tablero de inspiración con imágenes, colores y texturas que capturaran un sentimiento o estilo específico.
Walsh School hosted the district Holi celebration on Friday, March 14th! Holi, the Indian festival of colors, is celebrated in Spring and symbolizes inclusiveness, new beginnings, and the triumph of good over evil. Participants created beautiful Rangoli with Saraswathi Ranganathan, experienced traditional Indian drums with Jeff Handley, and joined in the throwing of colors.
