Wharton Spirit Week Monday: Jersey Day Tuesday: Hat Day Wednesday: Crazy Hair Day Thursday: Red, White, & Blue Day Friday: Costume Day

On thursday 10/15 Heritage Middle School Cross-Country competed in the 2020 IESA 3A-I Sectional at Southwood Junior High. Alyna Salamanca (7th) won the Girls Sectional with a time of 13:29.61. She is the first individual sectional champion ever at Heritage. Also Zulia Fortiz (6th) grade finished in 7th place with a time of 14:34.73. In the Boys race Aiden Romo (8th) finished in 5th place with a time of 12:58.00. Miguel Delvillar (8th) finished in 6th place with a time of 13:03.43. Both Girls and Boys Cross-Country teams finished in 3rd place. Both teams would have qualified for the state meet. Unfortunately the IESA State meet has been canceled due to Covid 19.
