Congratulations to School Resource Officer (SRO) Armando Dominguez! He has been selected as the 2024 winner of the Floyd Ledbetter National School Resource Officer of the Year Award. He has been selected from the many nominations received from across the country by the National Association of School Resource Officers (NASRO) as their pick for this honor.
Officer Dominguez has been the school resource officer for Summit School District 104 for 6 years. A great asset to our school district, he provides security and assistance to both our schools and students and is an individual that all the students look up to.
Whether its during the school day or an after school event you will always see Officer Dominguez greeting parents and students alike with a giant smile, a high five, or a hug. Join us in congratulating Officer Dominguez on this incredible accomplishment.

Congratulations to all of the HMS students who were inducted into NJHS last night and to the NJHS 8th graders who received their cord for graduation.
The National Junior Honor Society (NJHS) elevates a school’s commitment to the values of scholarship, service, leadership, character, and citizenship and helps middle-level students develop the knowledge and skills to become well-rounded student leaders in their school, community, and beyond.
We cannot wait to see what the future holds for these students!
