🎉 Our students in Ms. Long's Transitional Program at HMS are hard at work learning valuable skills at the School Grounds coffee cart! ☕✨ From customer service and communication to money handling and teamwork, they are gaining real-world experience that will help them thrive in the future. 🌟 Each day, they improve their problem-solving abilities, time management, and social interactions—all while serving up delicious drinks and spreading smiles. 😊👏 We couldn’t be more proud of their progress!

6th Graders, in Mrs. Fudala's and Mrs. Vasquez's class completed the unit on Mesopotamia. Today, students were recreating the Mesopotamian tablets and writing their names in one of the oldest forms of writing, cuneiform.

Wharton School organized a gift exchange. This is the second year in the row that each student will receive a gift or gift card.  Our Student Council will be delivering gifts to each homeroom today!

There will be traffic delays/ bus delays because of a water main break at 66th and Archer Rd.

The awesome Walsh staff gave monetary donations or bought gifts for 5 of our Walsh families to give them the  best Christmas ever! Thank you, Walsh Staff and thank you to Mrs. Badillo and Mrs. Neal for helping to organize this amazing donation. 🎄🎁

Our sixth graders in Mrs. Gomez’ class had a blast modeling the rock cycle with candy! 🍬 They learned all about the processes involved in the formation and classification of rocks, and had so much fun in the process. #HandsOnLearning #FunInScience

HO HO HO! Santa stopped by Walsh School!

All Abord! Walker PTO sponsored a Polar Express Afternoon for all our students! Students boarded the train to the gym where they had hot chocolate and snacks while watching the Polar Express! Thank you PTO for always putting students first! Thank you Village of Bedford Park and Lopez Plumbing Systems Inc. for their generous donations that contributed to the success of the event

Please come out to Heritage Middle School and support the District 104 Band Program at the annual Breakfast with Santa on Sunday December 15th from 8:30 to 11:30. This event will feature an all you can eat pancake breakfast, performances by the band students, raffle prizes, and pictures with Santa and the Grinch! Student, Child, and Senior Tickets are 5 dollars, and Adult Tickets are 8 dollars. Tickets can be purchased ahead of time at the Graves Elementary Office or you can buy them at the door on December 15th. All are welcome and all proceeds go towards supporting music in District 104! This is an event you will not want to miss! Ven a Heritage Middle School y apoya al Programa de Banda del Distrito 104 en el Desayuno anual con Santa Claus el domingo 15 de diciembre de 8:30 a 11:30. Este evento contará con un desayuno con panqueques, presentaciones de los estudiantes de la banda, premios de la rifa y fotos con Santa Claus y el Grinch. Las entradas para estudiantes, niños y adultos mayores cuestan 5 dólares, y las entradas para adultos cuestan 8 dólares. Las entradas se pueden comprar con anticipación en la oficina de la escuela primaria Graves o puedes comprarlas en la puerta el 15 de diciembre. ¡Todos son bienvenidos y todas las ganancias se destinarán a apoyar la música en el Distrito 104! ¡Este es un evento que no querrás perderte!
