Board Meeting Highlights - May 8th, 2024
Walker students and staff celebrated their hard work with an all-school field trip to the Wintrust Sports Complex. Students had such an amazing day!
Heritage Middle School 8th graders had an incredible time exploring Northeastern University! From discovering college majors to experiencing campus life firsthand, it was a day filled with learning and teamwork!
District Performing Arts Showcase - May 14th, 2024 - 5:30 PM - ACHS Performing Arts Center
At last night's board meeting, the board recognized Mrs. Kathleen Kilgore for her outstanding commitment and support of our school libraries. Mrs. Kilgore has coordinated the donation of 15,876 library books representing over 56% of the district's total library collection during her tenure as a part-time school librarian.
Thank you to everyone who came out to our Ribbon Cutting and Open House yesterday for the Cook County School District 104 Administrative Center. The sun shown bright on this momentous day for the school district.

5th Graders at Graves Dual Language School took a trip to the Field Museum today! Students met Sue the famous Trx and watched a 3D movie about the Waking of Sue. They also explored different exhibits and dove down to the Unseen Oceans. Some students chose to take packets to answer questions related to what they learned. In all, it was an amazing learning experience which students and staff enjoyed.
¡Los estudiantes de quinto grado de la Escuela de lenguaje dual de Graves hicieron un viaje al Museo Field hoy! Los estudiantes conocieron a Sue, la famosa Trx, y vieron una película en 3D sobre el despertar de Sue. También exploraron diferentes exhibiciones y se sumergieron en los océanos invisibles. Algunos estudiantes optaron por tomar paquetes para responder preguntas relacionadas con lo que aprendieron. Fue una experiencia de aprendizaje increíble que los todos los estudiantes y el personal disfrutaron.

Girls soccer game today is canceled due to poor field conditions. All soccer players will be coming home after school.

Walker students celebrated their amazing teachers and support staff today with a recognition rally. All staff members were presented with a certificate of appreciation and a small bouquet of flowers. Thank you to our amazing staff!
