Wharton students celebrated Friendsgiving today with a sweet and creative activity! 🦃🧁 Students teamed up to make adorable turkey cupcakes with their friends — and the best part? They got to enjoy their tasty creations afterward!

HMS had their annual Turkey Trot on 11/20/25. We had 12 runners win the grand prizes and were also able to provide traditional thanksgiving dinners to more families than we have ever served in previous years. Should out to Officer Dominguez and the Summit Police Department for providing turkeys and keeping our students safe on their trot!

Parent/Teacher Conferences will be held on Monday, November 24th from 12:30 PM - 6:30 PM.
For information on conferences please contact your student's school.

To promote social communication, Walker 2-5 Transitional students created and participated in a Thanksgiving Day Parade. All students at Walker School celebrated their success!

Walker Elementary participated in an all school field trip to see the play Fractured Fairy Tales at Enchanted Castle. Students had a wonderful time and finished their trip with a pizza lunch!

Leylani G. (Walker Student Council President) and Emma S. (Secretary) presented a PowerPoint to at the school board meeting on Tuesday, sharing both their community service and fundraising ideas for the school. Currently, the school is collecting can goods for the needy and gathering funds for Pediatric Cancer Patients. Their leadership is amazing!

Science in Motion!

The 8th grade scientists from Ms. Puhr’s class became engineers this week as they designed and built their own roller coasters! Using their creativity and problem-solving skills, they explored how mass affects gravitational potential energy (GPE).

From loops to drops, every twist of their coasters helped them see physics in action — proving that learning can be just as thrilling as the ride itself!
