At last night's board meeting, the School District 104 Board of Education recognized the HMS JV Girls Soccer team for placing second in conference. These athletes and their coaches worked hard all year and is shown in their accomplishments this season.
School District 104's 2024 Wall of Fame recipients were also recognized at the board meeting. This year's recipients were Gabriela Vega (2012), Gabby Parra (2002), and Chris L. Lesniak (1995). Recipients are selected based on characteristics that include community involvement, academic achievement, and accomplishments since graduating from School District 104. Congratulations to our 2024 recipients.

During the last week of school, Graves second grade dual language students in Ms. Jackie Negron and Yesenia Gonzalez's second grade classrooms, with Ms. Sarah Razinski and Nancy Ocampo created habitats for their cicadas, gluing on ectoskeletons. They put them on a lounge chair at the beach, in space, at Disney on a ride, on a swing, in outer space and in many creative spots!

6th Grade trip to Summit Park - May 29th, 2024
4th graders at Walker celebrated a successful school year by participating in a READ-A-THON! They cozied up with favorite titles, pillows, blankets, snacks, and even flashlights! This was a great way to strengthen their love of reading and the special community they have built in Room 202!
Walsh students enjoyed field day today with tik-tac-toe, head, shoulders, knees, cup, and so many more amazing activities!
