Breakfast with Santa is coming up on Sunday, December 17th. Tickets can be purchased starting next week. HMS students can purchase tickets at their lunch on 12/11 and 12/12. Elementary families can purchase tickets throughout the week from their respective front offices. Tickets will also be sold at our band concert on 12/13 and the day of the event. Student tickets are $5 and Adult tickets are $8. Come enjoy an all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast!! HO HO HO 🎅

Our students'/children's safety is of utmost importance, remind children of the dangers of approaching and interacting with strangers and being aware of their surroundings.

Attention District 104 Families, Please note your student's school will be hosting Dental Day in either January or February. Permission forms were sent home this week. Please complete the form and return to your student's school as soon as possible or scan the QR code for easy sign up (see flyer attached). This is a free resource so please take advantage and sign up now. Remember, a dental exam is a registration requirement for kindergarten, 2nd and 6th grade. Therefore, signing up would fulfill this registration requirement. If your student does not have a current dental exam on file or will be in the above grades next school year, this is the perfect time to sign up. All students, however, are encouraged to take advantage of this amazing opportunity. Please take a look below as to when your student's school will host Dental Day. Walker Student Council collected over 1,200 items to be donated to multiple organizations for upcoming holidays. Pictured is Summit Senior Apartments as food is being organized to hand out. Also, Maddie Bywater showing some of the donation boxes. A high shout-out to all the Walker Families and friends who donated!

Nature's Tonics The staff at the Little Red Schoolhouse Nature Center lead our staff in a short interpretive walk to discuss how nature in our backyards holds many secrets for making wellness drinks. Teachers learned how to make homemade elderberry syrup and ginger ale while also sampling dandelion tea and sumac lemonade!
