The Hour of Code is in full swing at SD104 thanks to Accenture and Board Member Frias! During this hour students learn coding through fun games such as Minecraft and Star Wars, while also learning about Accenture and the computer science field.

Walsh students celebrate the 100th day of school!
8th graders from Ms. Hokkanen's STEAM classroom worked with Ms. Smith's STEAM 3rd graders to uncover some sweet fossils as they explored the world of paleontology today!
Congratulations to our very own Eva Manzke, Interventionist for 3rd and 4th grade at Walker Elementary, on receiving the Award of Special Recognition in the Teacher Category by the Illinois State Board of Education. Since 1970, the Illinois State Board of Education has sponsored the Those Who Excel & Teacher of the Year program to honor educators who have made significant contributions to Illinois schools. Eva will be honored with the award at a ceremony this Spring.
